Will Mitt Romney publicly comment on what he thinks about Palin quitting her job mid term?
Two names that repeatedly keep coming up are Mitt Romney and Sarah Palin.
Given the fact Palin has just up and quit her post as Governor of Alaska in the midst of several investigations for ethic charges, the pundits are weighing in on whether this would help or hurt her chances in the next Presidential election.
Will we see Mitt Romney join in and try to make a little political hay and pipe up with his opinion on her?
Any publicly reported statement in the next 7 days in which Romney speaks about Palin will qualify, even if he supports her decision to bail on Alaska.

it might be wise to write questions based on facts for the sake of HD in the future. you wanna flame throw in the comments, do so at your own peril.
"To the extent several websites, most notably liberal Alaska blogger Shannyn Moore, are now claiming as 'fact' that Governor Palin resigned because she is 'under federal investigation' for embezzlement or other criminal wrongdoing, we will be exploring legal options this week to address such defamation," said lawyer Thomas Van Flein in a sent to reporters Saturday.

first: who made you king of HD to tell people what questions they are allowed to write, or to determine what is (or what is not) wise for the sake of HD?
second: wouldn't this apply to this too: http://www.hubdub.com/m43106/ ?
diesel's real beef is that he seems to adore this family of nuts, which is evidenced by his popping in with some defensive commentary any time anyone says anything remotely negative about the first "white trash" family of alaska.
thing is, diesel seems to rise to the defense of every woman he fantasizes about sexually. and i'd tell you to take a look at what he calls those he doesn't fantasize about but tisha and jennie removed all those vulgar comments. see, in d-dogs world women are only worthy of being bedded or dismissed, minimized and insulted because without the sexual allure they hold no value.
con2 - your jealously makes you look childish. you or your buddy kru still offer no proof of serval investigations. you say something about one that is speculation.
"its a fact that he hasn't showin his orginal BC" - that's true, but not what the question asks.
The question says "because he doesn't have a valid US Birth Certificate".
"he doesn't have" is worded as if it were a fact, which clearly is not - it's an assumption.
but, anyway, who made you king of HD to tell people what "WOULD BE WISE" for the sake of HD?
"IF a law suit is filed againest HD" ... hu? for what?
maybe violation of freedom of speech?
now where's your sense of adventure
LOL
or you must be "king of HD", than you have powers over the comments and questions, than you can become emperor and have powers over other users. I'm only a SU, so I have none of these powers.
but if you want to restrain me, than you should behave like dieseldog, turned by ~ 180°
;-P
Hubdub Court is now in session
The Honourable Great God Hubdub now presiding........
(note to plaintiffs- if you win, don't take H$ as settlement....go for a t-shirt or coffee mug)
king nic-pickerkru - "he doesn't have" is worded as if it were a fact, - its a simple yes or no question. it doesn'twill..thats makes it a question..not a stated fact. Will President Obama be removed from Office because he doesn't have a valid US Birth Certificate?
background on this question - Given the fact Palin has just up and quit her post as Governor of Alaska in the midst of several investigations for ethic charges - thats not true and you nor con2 have provided no info to back it up. see comment 6 - McCain's running mate, is 14-for-14 in fighting off the complaints. She's been cleared of 13 charges by the independent State Personnel Board and of another complaint by the Federal Election Commission (FEC).
she reimbursed the state for travel expenses for her kids on the one charge.
but, anyway, who made you king of HD to tell people what "WOULD BE WISE" for the sake of HD? - i'm not allowed to offer my (see comment 12) opinon? what about the free speech you just spoke about..does that only apply to you?
"IF a law suit is filed againest HD" ... hu? for what? - you being the expert on the USA i'm surprised i have to tell you. we will be exploring legal options this week to address such defamation. see comment 6
con2 - it so easy making money off your biased, non factual questions i rarely wager on them. it would be like gaming. you sure like to dish it out, but can't take it. you wanna flame throw exspect to get burnt. as smokey the bear says...kids shouldn't play with fire. :O)
ok done playing with the html.
"Given the fact Palin has just up and quit her post as Governor of Alaska in the midst of several investigations for ethic charges"
is this a defamation enough to be accused for in the land of Free Speech? what kind of punishment shall I expect? wow, I'm surprised.
but let's see how others react on that "threat":
"Rule one about how not to reply to scurrilous rumors, threatening to sue over them before they get reported. Quote, “This is to provide notice to Shannyn Moore and those who republish the defamation, such as ‘Huffington Post,‘ MSNBC, ‘The New York Times‘ and “The Washington Post,‘ that the Palins will not allow them to propagate defamatory material without answering to this in a court of law.” Oh, threats from the half-term ex-governor of Alaska."

"Palin vs. the Internet"
"Sarah Palin quit five colleges in her otherwise unremarkable collegiate career, before finally graduating from the sixth. She quit her job in television. She and Todd quit their snow machine dealership in Big Lake. She quit as chair of the Alaska Oil & Gas Conservation Commission. Now she has quit the governorship of the state she supposedly loves. Sarah Palin is a quitter. When the going gets tough, Sarah Palin quits."

Palin's attorney should know better than to dare the media
The AP reported that Thomas Van Flein, the governor’s attorney, would sue “… against bloggers and publications that reprint what he called fraudulent claims.” It brings back memories of former Vice President Spiro Agnew and former President Richard Nixon’s disdain for the Fourth Estate and the First Amendment of our Constitution.
Van Flein specifically mentioned commentator Shannyn Moore, the Huffington Post, MSNBC, The Washington Post, the New York Times and any others who “propagate defamatory material.”

Palin's resignation remarks show she's unfit to be president
Thomas Van Flein, Palin's personal lawyer, said that an off-color joke by talk show host David Letterman contributed to Palin's decision to resign. But politics can be a rough and tumble business. As public figures, politicians are subject to attacks by opponents and ridicule from comedians. A thick skin is required, and a president, living in a fishbowl, probably needs the thickest skin of all. A male politician citing such a joke in resigning from office would be laughed at as a wimp.
Despite her decision, Palin said, "I am not a quitter. I am a fighter." That remark simply insults the intelligence.
In choosing Palin as his running mate, Sen. John McCain showed poor judgment. In many ways, Palin is a female Dan Quayle, a shallow lightweight with a poor grasp of issues, chosen to appeal to the Christian Right base by a nominee distrusted by it. Quayle sought the presidential nomination in 2000 and fell flat on his face. Given her bizarre and erratic behavior, we can only hope that the same thing happens to Palin should she seek the nomination in 2012.

"you being the expert on the USA i'm surprised i have to tell you."
oww, I really fear the consequences for HD!
and again: if I would follow republican logic (yes, I am joking here): she defends herself, she must be guilty.
okay, to correct the impression you have that I was claiming (where?) that these investigations were real;
FBI Says There Is No Palin Investigation
The Anchorage Daily News reports that Moore, who alluded to the investigation during an appearance on MSNBC, fired back at Palin during a press conference on Sunday. She called Palin "a coward and a bully" and that she never claimed the rumors were fact but only pointed out they existed. "Shannyn Moore will not be muzzled," she said.
Palin's attorney Van Flein responded to Moore via the paper: "The Constitution allows anyone to print what they want, but it does not say you can do so with impunity and with a total disassociation from reality ... to be blunt: falsely implying that the governor, or her husband, are under federal investigation, is not free speech."

"She's been cleared of 13 charges by the independent State Personnel Board and of another complaint by the Federal Election Commission"
oh, from how many charges about the ColB has Obama been cleared?
oh, whoopps, 20 comments already. I think I'll stay away from these comments for maybe 5 months and occasionally will reply then.
king nic-picer of HDkru - I really fear the consequences for HD! - you should.is this a defamation enough to be accused for in the land of Free Speech? - depends on palin's judgement. she would be the one filing the suit.
"The Constitution allows anyone to print what they want, but it does not say you can do so with impunity and with a total disassociation from reality - thats why should fear consequences for HD!
oh, from how many charges about the ColB has Obama been cleared? - none he hasn't been tried yet. after (or if he ever has to appear in court) then we'll no if he's been cleared.
oh, whoopps, 20 comments already. I think I'll stay away from these comments for maybe 5 months - while your gone go find the serval investigations palin is under going at the time the question was wrote.

I'm right. He's wrong. Big surprise.
Randy Evans, the attorney who helped Palin set up the Alaska Trust Fund, released a statement moments ago dismissing the allegation that there was any impropriety in its founding as "absolutely untrue".
Added Evans: "It was specifically patterned after well recognized trusts of prior Presidential candidates as well as high profile public servants. As with other public servants, there is no impropriety in the creation or operation of such a trust and any suggestion to the contrary is candidly absurd."
Evans, a partner in the firm of McKenna, Long & Aldridge, is a well known Republican attorney, having served as outside counsel to then Speakers Newt Gingrich (Ga.) and Dennis Hastert (Ill.).
