Will any medical professional be disciplined in connection with the death of Michael Jackson?

Background: With the death of Michael Jackson questions have emerged regarding the care and treatment he was receiving. While other questions already cover the criminal aspect of Jackson's care, this one is asking whether one of his doctors, nurses, paramedics or other healthcare workers was responsible.

If any healthcare professional who is licensed by the state or other sanctioning body is disciplined for the treatment they provided to Jackson, this question is to settle as Yes. Because the overseeing bodies are slow moving, the settlement date will be January 31, 2010. If there is a recent MSM source saying that the investigation or hearings are on going, settlement may be extended. However, if there has been nothing in a MSM or other public source in the preceding 30 days an no medical professional has been disciplined, this market will settle as no at that time. Market may settle early if a professional is disciplined prior to settlement date.

Settlement details:As reported by a major mainstream news source.

Does arrested = disciplined?
Does it require corporal punishment, or does sitting in a corner (say in a police dept. for a few hours) count? :)
Sorry, for the sick humor. It is not really funny, when one considers what MJ must have gone through much of his life.. I guess like Elvis, although perhaps worse.

. Anyway, great question...

Disciplined in a professional manner by a state or governing body (may be Department of Transportation for EMTs & first responders in some states), i.e. license revoked or suspended, formal reprimand, stipulations entered upon the practitioner's license. Here's a little about what they do in Colorado:

In most cases, malpractice to the level of a criminal act leading to arrest would certainly mean a suspension or revocation of a professional license. Like I said in the background, this is likely to be a slow process. There's a stipulation that if this is part of an ongoing investigation, the case won't settle until there's an outcome of the investigation, but I'd suspect in six months that we'll know one way or another.

The irony is Murray could lose his license for issues unrelated to Jackson's death:
