i hope not. The news questions are what brought me here, the sports questions are what has kept me here.

It would be nice to be able to filter out certain types of questions - the endless daily questions on American Sports, stock market indices and American Tv ratings don't interest me for example.... it would be nice I could filter them (or anything else) from my view

What news questions? This is about the biggest news question on this site at the moment.

"the endless daily questions on American Sports, stock market indices and American Tv ratings don't interest me ..." DITTO.

The real excitement for today is the President's upcoming news conference: How many times will the President yawn during his live news conference? Oh, sorry, that's us -- counting yawns on hubdub. Sorry again: SPORTSdub...

Maybe if someone countered the multitude of sports question with equal questions about EVERY ELECTION held everywhere in the world for any position, someone might get the message.

How about the upcoming election for school superintendent in Sweet Water, Texas, for example? In addition to who actually wins, we want to predict WHO fires the first shot in pinning scandals on the contestants, WHO is leading in the polls at the halfway mark of the election, WHAT middle initial will be in the winner's name, WHO gets a divorce first, WHICH ONE of the candidates will get back together again with Jessica Simpson, compound that with the Madoff Stock Lottery adapted to the alphabet, and multiply that times EVERY MUNICIPAL ELECTION held anywhere in the world --

And we MIGHT start to balance the plethora of sports and stock market questions on hubdub/sportsdub....

Oh! There's no election currently for superintendent in Sweet Water? Well, maybe there is one in Mexia or Corsicana or Garland or Caddo Mills or...There ARE ball games in all of those towns...

all HD'rs - they have a filter now. choose which catagoery (at the top of the home page) you like to bet on and click it. lets say you only wanna bet on Entertainment questions. simply click Entertainment, and you only see Entertainment questions.

ahhh but the question is about
A. The home page which kinda looks like a sports page
B. About moving the sports to its own site not about the individual tabs
so yes the question can be interpreted as the opposite of your comment dieseldog in stead of only entertainment you can see all but sports.

wyrm - i wasn't saying the question is flawed. just offering some friendly advice for people who are only interested in certain categories.

the homepage opens with the "most predictors" and is representitive of the ebb and flow of the news. sports events and ticker tape hoohaw are but ripples that represent days and times in the cyber stream of collective (hubdub) thought
