President Obama Primetime Press Conf. 7/22/09: How many of the newly profitable banks will he name?
"Bank of America and Citigroup yesterday became the latest megabanks to report multibillion-dollar profits in the second quarter, joining J.P. Morgan Chase and Goldman Sachs. The four banks together earned $13.6 billion only half a year after they lost a combined $20.8 billion. "
How many of these four banks will Obama mention by name?
He has to speak the proper name and it doesn't count if a reporter mentions the name(s) and the president says something like "that bank".
A shorted name/abbreviation is fine as long as it's clear what bank is meant, such as "Goldman", "Sachs", "Chase","JPMC", "Citi", or "B-Money".
This is during his opening remarks and answers to all reporter questions.
Settlement details:As reported by a major mainstream news source as per the official transcript.
