Will Tim Geithner sell his NY home by May 31 2010?
Background: http://abcnews.go.com/Business/story?id=8169165&page=1
Geithner has been trying to sell his suburban NYC home ever since he was nominated for Treasury Secretary. His original asking price then was $1.635 million. After reducing the price and still not being able to find a buyer, Geithner reportedly began renting the home in May 2009 for $7,500 a month. Apparently many sellers of high-priced homes are employing the tactic of renting while the housing market is in a slump.
Will Geithner actually SELL his home by May 31 2010? Any sale for any price will qualify as a Yes.
