Is one of Gearbox Software's "secret" projects a Halo game or something else?
Background: In February 2008, an open invitation by Gearbox head Randy Pitchford to tender for a senior position on a big new project prompted a flurry of speculation that the developer was to take the reins of the Halo franchise after Bungie. Despite the announcement of Halo: Reach for 2011 in between, speculation intensified yesterday when Pitchford refused to deny the rumour in an interview with Eurogamer which was abruptly pounced upon by the present PR.
