The X-rays on Roy Williams injured left wrist came back negative and he is day-to-day.
Big sigh of relief for the Cowboys, who are counting on Williams to be their No. 1 wideout. The former Lion is expected to just miss a few days of practice with a sprain and then resume his quest to replace Terrell Owens who was let go and caught on with the Buffalo Bills.

"Well, sure, it's always tough against press coverage," head coach Wade Phillips said yesterday. "That's a tough coverage. You can run crossing routes and things that you want that can give that coverage a problem, to help those guys some like put them in motion and things that we didn't do. If you can't get off the line on the press, then people are going to find it out. We work on that all the time. We work a lot of press coverage on defense. Our offense works drills against it all the time when we're not working in practice against it."
