KIDNAPPED! Will a book deal be agreed to by Jayceee Lee Dugard in 2009?

Background: Jaycee Lee Dugard was kidnapped in 1991 from her home in South Lake Tahoe. She was abducted by Phillip and Nancy Garrido. She had been in their custody for 18 years. She had been raped and gave birth to two children. Through a series of miracle events this woman was walked into a California police station by her abductors and freed. Jaycee is 29 years old. She has virtually no formal education because her kidnappers did not allow her to attend school.

Can this victim, Jaycee Lee Dugard, get on her feet financially by someone writing her story and paying her dearly for it. I personally cannot wait to read a book or see a movie about this.

The key to this question is whether or not a book deal will be contracted in 2009. The book does not have to be published in 2009.

@Bucky - I don't have much of a take" on this, other than man's inhumanity to man. I do not dig into a story like this because it is too hurtful. Am I hiding my head in the sand? yes. This is so similar (I think) to the German who hid his daughter? in the basement or whereever and had children with her. I saw incest when I first moved to Florida in the 70's and the fathers thought they were doing their daughters a favor. Their daughters would know how to be good sex partners with their husbands when they got married.
But a book??? this year??? I don't think she's capable.

I agree with you, cici. She has her real family to wrap their arms around her now.

Poor girl's got a lot of healing to do. From what I read, she still feels a fair amount of loyalty and love toward her kidnapper/rapist, so it may take quite some time for her to get things straightened out. Of course, the act of writing can be cathartic and therapeutic...but it seems highly unlikely any book would be agreed upon, written, published, and distributed in the next four months...

Apparently the way she still feels a fair amount of loyalty and love toward her kidnapper/rapist is a medical condition, does anyone know the name, I tried to google it but couldnt find it.
