Gallup Daily: Economic outlook. When will more Americans say "getting better" than "getting worse"?
Background: It's been a long recession and most people still believe that things are a mess. On January, 20, 2009, only 18% of Americans described the Economic outlook to be getting better (they must have been the bankers who took all our money). The number dropped to a low of 14% in Feb, then climbed to around 35-40% by April, where it has hovered since, struggling to find direction for the past 5 months. Today, Sept 5, 2009, 39% thought things are getting better and 57% thought they are getting worse. We've got a long way to go.
So, the question asks: When will be the % of people who believe that the Economic outlook is getting better exceed those who say the outlook is getting worse, as reported by Gallup daily?
