Background: Nico Rosberg's Williams contract is up for renewal at the end of the current F1 season.
Williams have had something of a resurgence of form this season, their car is probably the most consistently fast and reliable on the grid.
Willams have made no secret of their desire to hold onto Nico and in 2007/08 resisted a big money offer from McLaren (rumored to be £30m) to release Nico from his contract.
