NFL:Will the Washington Redskins beat another team with a losing record in 2009?
Background: After the first six games, the Washington Redskins have failed to play a team that had previously won a game in 2009. Despite the easy schedule so far, the Redskins have performed poorly with a 2-4 record. Two of those lossed were to Detroit and Kansas City, whose victories over the Redskins are their only ones of the season (at question creation time). The two lonely wins were against St. Louis and Tampa Bay, who along with Tennessee started the season 0-6.
Now, the tough part of the schedule begins. At question creation time, eight of their remaining games are against teams with winning records. Visits to Oakland (currently 2-4) on December 13 and San Diego (currently 2-2) on January 3 may be the Redskins' best chance for victories.
