Will the United States Military find a way to shrink humans in any way, shape, or form in 2008?

It seems as though this question has inaccurate starting odds. Alternatively, please link to a news article which suggests that there is at least a 5% chance of this occurring.

They already shrink many humans via a process known as Basic Training. Do you have a link to a mainstream media news story? Or is this pure speculation (fabrication) on your part? Skipper, Bad dog! If the initial percentages weren't what they are I'd have to send you to your room!

I was just thinking of "Honey, I shrunk the kids!"
I mean seriously, wouldn't it be cool if they could have mini-humans in mini-airplanes flying reconnaissance?

So, are we also betting on mini-airplanes, or is that a seperate question... 2. What about mini-guns and mini bullets, although i don't see the point: a mini bullet would hardly do damage. 3. what if they just shrink the ENEMY, then we could crush them without planes or mini-bullets.
