Will NV Governor evict his wife and move back in to the Governor's mansion by 5/16/08?
No recent news to suggest that this has happened
Background:>
Republican Governor of Nevada, Jim Gibbons, has filed for divorce and moved out of the Governor's mansion. Meanwhile, his wife resides in the mansion and claims that she does not know why he would file for divorce.
In addition, "The divorce case — and the potential political fallout — are the latest in a series of difficulties for the first-term governor, including a corruption investigation by the FBI, still underway, and claims by a Las Vegas cocktail waitress that he assaulted her in a parking garage after she rebuffed his advances just before his 2006 election."
For settlement purposes (to be settled as "yes"), the Governor's wife must either be evicted OR move out voluntarily (after being threatened with eviction), while the Governor returns to the mansion alone...by the end of the day (midnight) 5/16/08.
