# of tanks and intercontinental missile launchers in Moscow's V-Day Parade on Monday

Voided

Specific numbers for settlement not found.

Background:

Tanks and intercontinental missile launchers are to feature in Moscow's annual Victory Day parade for the first time since the collapse of the USSR.

A dress rehearsal on Monday featured columns of armour and fly-pasts of heavy bomber and fighter planes.

The Kremlin insists the parade, which marks the defeat of Nazi Germany in 1945, is not meant to threaten anyone.

But it clearly wants to show Russia is a serious military force again, the BBC's Moscow correspondent says.

Well, it seems that there were 111 vehicles, of all types, apparently including various types of (non-ICBM) missile launchers, a few ICBM missile launchers, Armoured Personnel Carriers, anti-aircraft vehicles, jeeps, some support vehicles and tanks (or, there was at least one T-90 tank).

How many of the 111 were specifically "tanks + ICBM launchers" as the question asks is unclear so far, but not many.

I agree rogi, all info I found stated over 100 combat vehicles. Exact numbers of types I could not find.
What threw me off is question asks V-Day parade on Monday. It occured on Friday did it not?

Sorry about the confusion, my fault, the dress rehearsal was last Monday, but the parade was yesterday, Friday.

Still trying to find a news report on this. Can anyone else find anything? Any CIA spies on the ground? 1 tank, 2 tanks, 3 tanks :-)

I guess we should give it till Monday otherwise we will have to void.

I have looked and also didnt find any site or news report specifying the numbers and types of machinery used in the VDay Parade.
Best I could find was many reports all stating vague figures that over 100 combat vehicles participated.
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/24535834
http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/news/world/europe/article3902953.ece
couple examples, but found many more stating basically same thing.
Let me know if someone finds site with specifics.
Thanks
