A national search firm has picked five educators from East Coast school districts as finalists for the superintendency of Memphis City Schools.
Here are the finalists unveiled at a meeting of the Memphis Board of Education on Tuesday night:
Tiffany Anderson, superintendent of the Montgomery County Public Schools in Christiansburg, Va.
Yvonne Brandon, deputy superintendent of the Richmond (Va.) Public Schools.
Kriner Cash, chief of accountability and systemwide performance of the Miami-Dade (Fla.) County Public Schools.
Nicholas Gledich, chief operations officer of the Orange County (Fla.) Public Schools.
James Williams, superintendent of the Buffalo (N.Y.) Public Schools.
