Will North Korea blow up the cooling tower at its Yongbyon nuclear facility before the end of 2008?

Settled as Yes

http://www.bloomberg.com/apps/news?pid=20601101&sid=aCTp.D4yF3y0&refer=japan
North Korea says they will destroy the cooling tower that is a part of its nuclear facility at Yongbyon as a symbolic gesture. North Korea is famous for failing to complete the items they agree to. Will they follow through with this or is it another big act to get more money/aid from the U.S./South Korea/China/etc?
Since there's no date listed in the article - I'm giving them until the end of the year.

Good answer. :-) Hopefully CNN (Christiane) stands back to avoid any nuclear fallout.

I guess so, but that'd be a real shocker... Unless they asked US to blow it up for some reason - I think they should be able to handle it though.

CNN report says it'll be Friday afternoon, NK time (East Coast of US is 13 hours behind that), so it should be around midnight tonight on the East Coast.
