Will the 2008 male Wimbledon champ be a repeating winner?

Voided

whichever way this would be edited; the odds wouldn't be satisfactory as most oddsmakers are offering Federer at 50% and Hewitt at about 1%.

Background:

The last five times, Roger Federer has won the men's championship. In the two years before he began his streak, the champs were Goran Ivanisevic and Lleyton Hewitt. All the ones before then have retired or just can't play at that level anymore. So will there be a NEW men's champ this year?

Why didn't you just ask "Will Federer win Wimbledon this year?" ... it's highly unlikely that any other player who won before will win this year - you yourself state so in the background. This is a question which is set up in a too complicated way, IMHO.

This is one of those infamous questions in which the main question asks one particular question, then another is asked in the background that has the opposite effects. This question asks will there be a repeating winner so if you say yes you are saying the champ will not be new. But if you read the last line in the background it asks "So will there be a NEW mens champ this year?" which would be a NO, if the original question was a Yes.
I am flagging this question, suspending it until the background information can be edited, so there is no duplicities.

This is essentially a Will Federer win question. There is a problem with the contradictory title and background but also with the odds as whichever way this would be edited; the odds wouldn't be satisfactory as most oddsmakers are offering Federer at 50% and Hewitt at about 1%.
