Will the U.S. National Average for gas reach $5 a gallon by July 4, 2008?

The daily AAA survey recently put gasoline at $4 a gallon in the United States. Analyst are estimating that prices for crude oil could hit $150-a-barrel by July 4, 2008, which many believe will translate to $5 a gallon at the tank.

@destry...its no big deal either way. i saw it and figured ain't no way gas will be $5 on the fourth. i don't think they celebrate the 4th across the pond. it will give them sumthin to do tomorrow.
