I'd like to hear if "in play" markets are interesting to other hubdubbers.
actually, both the Atlantic and Coastal Division of the ACC have 6 teams each. So, the other can be one of six teams.
If Duke wins the ACC football Championship, I would be very surprised.
yeah, but I wouldn't want to offend any of our Duke fans out there. ;)
@dieseldog
absolutely. I think these would be very interesting markets for in-play.
these markets are not "in-game" in-play, but would be seasonal "in-play". whatever donal decides is fine with me. however, i can see where some of these markets could 'freeze' if certain teams attain such dominance within their conference. So, maybe suspend after 6 weeks of play, 8 weeks? NCAA teams play about 12 games in regular season, as far as I can tell, with most seasons ending the last week in November.
what are your thoughts?
@donal
your comments please.
Plus market suspension dates should be selected as a date when an outcome could occur. No conference champions will be crowned any time soon.
We've got about 4 days.
Any objections?
Actually, the "in play" markets would typically refer more to questions on games that are in progress. I like the idea of leaving these types of questions open so that we can follow the progress...at least to a reasonable point (not after the championship game is played).
The ACC Championship game is scheduled for 12/6 and the final season games are 11/29. So, how about suspending just before the last regular season games?
I'll edit accordingly, if that makes sense.
Aye!
