Will we see mud at Glastonbury this year?

Settled as Yes

By mid-morning the infamous Glastonbury mud returned - and the queues for wellies started to grow."

Friday 27th June 2008 - 1:35pm

<http://www.24dash.com/news/Communities/2008-06-27-Glastonbury-Festival-revellers-prepared-for-the-worst>

Background:

Famous for it's mud, the last 2 Glastonbury Festivals have been washouts, last year's event almost reached humanitarian disaster proportions as St Johns Ambulance staff were dispatched to stop people succumbing to hypothermia. Will this year's festival be muddy?

Settlement details: This is a tricky one, but lets say that an image (static or moving) on the BBC website (www.bbc.co.uk) of either a puddle of mud, a torrential downpour or of a festival-goer with mud above the knee will prove that the festival has, indeed, been muddy.

Had to chuckle - hard to take rockers seriously with such "dignified" accents...

It's always muddy to some extent in Pilton, Somerset, UK. The weather forecast does look good for the weekend.

That would be my experience too, I've been to the last three festivals, and everyone of them had mud to some extent, the last one was nightmarish though!
