I believe that a preponderance of intelligent life in the Universe and assorted nearby Dimensions (+/- 3.1415) prefer Tostitos to Doritos. This advertising campaign demonstrates, to those who don't live in our particular spacial/temporal arena, a lack of sophistication in our dietary habits. Darn shame.

Another interpretation would be someone bought incrementally through the afternoon while the DJIA hovered in the high 700's... then took a bath selling it all and jumped in on the 800-900 when it began to look like that was the horse to bet on.

Right. As if it would be that difficult to enact similar regulations as to alcohol consumption. Regulated purchase, specific age limits, no "under the influence" on the job, etc.
And I have to laugh your "druggie doc/druggie cop" scenario. I can't think of two other occupations with more daily contact with drugs, both legal and otherwise. What exactly is it about the dreaded reefer that is going to make them consume before going off to work?
