App. State won't be the same team as last year, but I was there last year so I have to bet on them. Funny how Michigan isn't even on this list since they decided paying a IAA school $400,000 to come dethrone them at the Big House was a bad idea.
Good question.

The sixth answer should read "Browns, Jags..." instead of "Broncos...", but not a big deal. However, does one of those teams have to win, or just make an appearance?
He's got to have some excuse or way to plead this thing down. Maybe I'm just too used to the way things work in the U.S.

I doubt I'm going to be right, but I'm going with the monkeys purely based on the fact they are monkeys.
With the number of gestures, dances, and celebrations after every first down, tackle, and well, pretty much everything, I have to assume they'll find something somewhere. Since it's the NFL, I'm inclined to say they won't do anything, but I'm going to say a combination of gesturing rules and about two fines come out of this so they "look tough."
Peyton is still more consistent, IMO. I think we're still about 1-2 years from seeing this happen, but a very good question.

On a more personal note... Go Horse!
Of course he won't go to prison. There's no point trying to put him behind bars. He's no Chuck Norris, but I've still seen him get out of some pretty hairy situations before.
@bayoubear:
Agreed. However, once a brand name is established, it's generally best to keep cramming it down the throats of the masses. They don't have to be the best athlete (or even an athlete, for that matter), they just have to be marketable.

Not that I fault ESPN for their choices, though. It's a big name awards show these days, and so they have to keep pushing the biggest names and supporting them. C'est la vie.
Um... Division IAA App State shocking #5 Michigan at the Big House was a much bigger upset IMO. That was unbelievable.

The Patriots losing? Not surprised. Winners never cheat, and CHEATERS NEVER WIN... except those Super Bowl trophies they get to keep for some reason...

Good question, and a great counter-question posed by Constable.

So, is it possible for them to only partially ban a substance? How will they draw the line between physician-approved usage and performance enhancing usage? Should be interesting to see how this one pans out, but my money's on yes.
Does somebody know something about a lifetime achievement award? Because I just don't see this one happening otherwise.
What about Sisqo? Is he not cool anymore?
I have to guess this one isn't going to happen. I could see him joining up with Montreal because he thinks they have a better chance of getting him a shot at the Cup, and the leafs are under new management, but... for some reason, I think there's a much better chance of him going somewhere else he thinks he might be able to win. I know this one sounds crazy, but what about Detroit? They've had a bunch of veteran guys taking paycuts for year to come join a winning program. Plus, those Swedish power forwards seem to thrive in that cesspool - er, city. It's just crazy enough to make sense... :p
@gingerboi

I don't doubt your willingness to expose yourself to strangers at a pool, but I thought sunlight was dangerous (even fatal) to gingers ;)
I think they'll ease up for the exact reason ironman just gave. I know Utah lawmakers aren't too keen on dancing, but I'm pretty sure they still like scantily clad women.
@ironman
I agree with your comment about people's ignorance, but I think it will still be a long time before they become unprofitable. The controversy really helps boost the sales, and they certainly aren't shy about it, either. I speak partly from experience because I remember being a teenager and "buying"(thanks to the assistance of a friend's older brother) the original GTA for PC. I had seen no screenshots, seen no one play it, but I had heard that it was banned in something like 50 countries. I don't remember the exact number, but I do remember that it was one of the major selling points clearly stamped on the box when I went to go find it in the store.

I know it's not an accurate representation of all gamers/teenagers/the gaming world today, but it is amazing to look back at that game and see the empire that has grown from that one controversial game...
I have a scary feeling this one will be "Yes" purely based on the fact that she's Madonna.

Regarding settlement... there may already be a precedent on this one, but I assume this refers to NY Times best seller list? I wasn't sure I should ask, but she married a British guy and now she's convinced she's British... I don't know where I'm going with this. I just know I've heard Amazon best seller lists referenced before, too.
It's pretty tough to assign those percentages without knowing what's going to happen in the off-season, but I'd say the percentages look pretty fair Rossmunce. Besides, the market will adjust itself accordingly as the season progresses :)
Since you put 8 question marks at the end, does that make it 8 questions?
I'm going to go ahead and say this is an awful idea... and so help me if I see/hear the term "glowing puck" come from anyone at CBC...
I'm hoping for yes, partially just because I want to create/see/bet on the questions that will be on Hubdub. Besides, maybe a super-powered, big budget, flashy show is what she needs to get people to forget (at least for a few seconds) her recent problems.
Since the team that has scored first in every game in the finals and conference finals has gone on to win, I'd say this is a pretty interesting question.
Good background info and question.
I know the octopus traditionally meant eight wins left to take home the cup, but I think there has to be at least one Detroit fan who possesses the courage, lack of judgement, and total disregard for tradition to make this happen sometime in the next couple of games.

Great question, btw.
Was there ever an article, rumor, or something that prompted this question? Not that there needs to be one in order to create a question, but I haven't heard anything about terrorism in the Windy City lately.
Only if Bono allows it. I heard he hates being number two.
I really don't think anything will come of it, and I have to believe this will settle as 'No'. However, I am still betting on 'Yes' for the simple fact that every once in a while, it's just nice to believe that justice will prevail... even if I only partially believe it.
Great question Mork. My thoughts:

I'm thinking Hillary won't be able to help tearing up at some point in time, so I'm going with her. I think I might have trouble holding back if I came as close as she did.

W won't cry, he has people to do that for him.
Britney won't be televised crying next because she'll be in hiding as much as possible (hopefully).
Paris won't be the next to tear up... unless it's trendy, has a designer label, and/or it involves partying.

For some weird reason, I'm really hoping he does come back. Pacman deserved to be punished for his "antics" (like violating state laws...), and now he deserves another chance to prove himself. I know that some might disagree with me, but that's the way our justice system works, and I believe one more probationary term is reasonable.

Do I think he's going to screw up again, though? Oh yeah.
Really? That's all he's got? Holding his breath?

I am now thoroughly convince that this guy is still trying desperately to compete with Paris Hilton for the "Most Talentless and Worthless Overly Publicized Person in America" award.
Vancouver won... why do the settlement details say Blues won?
