As an Amateur astronomers for Orange County Astronomers (the largest astronomy club in the U.S.) the planet Earth is struck by asteroids (meteorites) on a daily basis (haven't you seen a shooting star? Sometimes they hit us on land and especially in the water. Big ocean!) I completely agree for this question being suspended by the way it's worded. Maybe something like (On December 21, 2012 or within 24 hours of GMT and major damage to a city.) If it's the "Big One" nobody will be around to collect their winnings! And if it's just a meteorite hitting the Earth on that day (or within 24 hours) then the odds should be a meteorite NOT hitting the Earth having a larger percentage. And since we are hit by meteorites on a daily basis and most of them go unreported (or just unknown) how will it be reported to complete this question?
My feeling is that they will not use it, simply for principle. The World Series always have 2 extra umpires on the field and that should help any controversial call. By the way moderator, we are talking about the World Series, NOT the playoffs, right?
They got an early start on the first part of the strategy with "Babylon A.D.," Overture Films' Don Cheadle thriller "Traitor" (No. 5, $10 million), and a pair of comedies: Lionsgate's "Disaster Movie" (No. 7, $6.9 million) and MGM/Weinstein Co's "College" (No. 15, $2.6 million).

The U.S. Labor Day holiday weekend, which marks the traditional end of summer, was led for a third round by "Tropic Thunder." Ben Stiller's Hollywood satire earned an estimated $14.3 million during the four-day period. It marks the lowest tally for a Labor Day holiday chart-topper since 2004, when the martial-arts film "Hero" opened to $11.5 million.

McCain makes decision on VP running mate on August 28. He has NOT ANNOUNCED IT YET (as of 3:30pm PDT) which is the question.
Well, the Angels won 2 days ago. When is this question going to be settled?
What, exactly, is going on with this question? Why was it taken off suspension and re-opened for another 24 weeks? It should have already been settled.
I new I'd enjoy this question! Great reply newswrangler! :)
I met Kendra at Disneyland. She wasn't very nice, though one of my girl friends is a friend of hers (on Myspace.) Holly and Bridget were cool though. Hef was Hef, and the only person (I met) more cool than Hef was Dean Martin. Kendra will stay past June. End of July? Maybe a cliff hanger for the show (Will Kendra move out?) Meow!
It's going to be in the end. Below is a news link from Yahoo news.

But we'll wait for the movie. I'll be there opening night (I really want to see the movie!)
Why is adding Hussein to his name disrespectful? That is his middle name.
With apologies. I wanted the question to suspend at 12:00 noon Eastern Time Friday. It is for the weekend from May 30, 2008 to June 1, 2008. US figures only. Straight-up numbers, which movie will make more money this weekend only.
This question should NOT be settled if she is at the beach in a bathing suit (aka bikini.) Summer is coming up. That is the appropriate attire for the beach (unless she is posing for a professional photographer.)
Personally, I think she'll be fine. That Vanity Fair shoot really bothered her, especially regarding her younger fan base (who she is targeting!)
If she cries again, I'm gonna cry! But not tears.....
Will Pope Benedict make any mention of the United States of America. As this question is stated, the obvious answer is Yes. He will thank the American people for their hospitality, or mention he met the President of the United States, or how beautiful the United States is or how happy he is to be in the United States, or how sad he is regarding the sex scandals here in the United States. All of these are mentioning the United States.
Closing credits. I predict that when the movie ends, the first thing you'll see is before any credits will be the "In Memory"
