I can tell you're very busy. The site is working fantastic.
I've been following (and adding to) the commentary on user satyaki.
I understand that it is not in your job description to delete users.
However, as Sports Editor, you have sufficient authority and responsibility to review satyaki's ICL and IPL questions to determine if the claims made against him (by Rohan, others) are fact. Yes or No. It's an easy question.
If the answer is No, then we should make this fact well known, through publishing it where all users can see it when they login.
If the answer is Yes, then sufficient action must be taken to prevent satyaki from making any more questions (at a minimum), or complete denial of all things Hubdub.
User sataki has created many live questions. He continues to create questions. How many more markets will YOU allow to become potentially poluted with his gaming intentions? His questions are not limited to Sports, but the Sports Category is where he has apparently been causing the most damage to Hubdub's core constituentcy (all other users).
Please let the Hubdubbers know of your decision soon. The longer this wound festers, the harder the cure.
In user satyaki's defence, He has contributed to many important discussions in a positive way. His antics may not be 'the expected', but hey, we know now that he is not yet 20 years old. However, I have had many intelligent conversations with other young guns and roses on Hubdub, and they do not partake of the abuses that satyaki has.
Donal, do your research, make your case to Nigel, and push the delete button.
