Think about how the Oscars work. They don't give awards to good movies (Ratatouille) they give the awards to movies which have their heads up their own asses (Persepolis). And I don't think Persepolis will win the foreign movie award. Alternatively, it stands to win both.
Oh, Jbolli, I agree with you. I didn't phrase that right. My bad. I have money on yes, and I don't understand how people can say no, but somehow I am losing money.
Well then please, and I do not mean this sarcastically, explain why this is likely to happen. My understanding was that huckabee was a fan of the national sales tax, but he is a huge long shot in the election as of right now. Not that it matters. Because he won't be in office until January 2009. And I wasn't aware that enough legislatures and politicians were seriously considering abolishing the IRS.
What am I missing on this question? How are peole saying yes?
What's funny about this? You're practically cheating to get more hubdub dollars. That's not funny. That's just very, very sad.
With Romney pulled out of the race, there will be nobody to split McCain's votes. Huckabee, I think, does not stand much of a chance.
The US Air Force has predicted a high likely hood that it will land in the United States. That's good enough for me, with a 10:1 pay out right now.
This question is obviously a scam. It was created in the last 12 hours, and the odds were put extremely low against Clinton, the clear favorite. Everyone flag for review. If Hubdub lets this question ride, it will hurt their credibility. (I know they won't though. They're on top of things.)
raneym's right. Despite being a legend in MMA, Mr. Abbott is 1-7 in his last 8 fights. The man is 42! Kimbo Slice is certainly not young at 33, but his very promising MMA career is just beginning, while Tank Abbott's is wrapping up. I think we are going to see a torch passed on Feb. 16th.
Seriously? A 2:1 payout if Tom Petty somehow finds the restraint not to drop trou during the halftime show. Either this is a scam, or the starting odds need to be readjusted.
Spore's (newest) release date is spring 2008. But this time, its considered the true date. Star Craft 2 is around Summer 2008 and Fallout 3 is Fall 2008. No word on Battlefield Heroes.
Since the war began in 2003, there have been 2 months with under 33 casualities. In other words, 3.5 PERCENT of the months have had less than 33 casualties. Check for yourself at the above link. Granted, the surge has been working, but I just don't know if its likely there will be a dramatic decrease. The last 4 febuarys have had the following casualties: 2007 - 85; 2006 - 58; 2005 - 60; 2004 - 23 (which was one of the two months with less than 33 casualties).
There have been two writer strikes before this current one. The first, in 1960, spanned the interval January 16, 1960 until June 10, 1960 for a total of 20 weeks and 6 days. The second, in 1988, ran from March 7 to August 7, 1988 for a total of 21 weeks and 6 days. Our current strike, which began on November 5th of last year (2007) has lasted for 12 weeks as of January 28th, and will only be at 16 weeks at the end of Febuary. And with studios airing shows such as American Gladiator and The Moment of Truth, they seem to be getting ready for the long haul. I'm a fairly cautious bidder, but I'm fairly confident that it is a safe bet that the Writers Strike will continue. Which is fine by me if that's all it takes to keep Lost off of the TV : )
