You are right infernal. I got my long weekends mixed up when I made this question.
I guess this question will settle after the beach has quieted down.

hmmm...I'm thinking...
I think I recall, when creating this question, fearing somebody would pose the question you ask, Tisha ;)
My thoughts are that 'large scale productions' would require a machine and take place in an environment other than a laboratory.

Why would somebody's kid be sharing joints with some creep? Is it really any different than a mickey of vodka? Should bad parenting be a crime?

The Canadian governments recent appology is in regards to crimes in which the perpetrators are still alive.

Epicur's comment was made 5weeks ago when this question was settled falsely.
The question was re-opened due to epicurs valid arguement which I entirely agree with.
This question refers to "Tower Cranes" which are often used for the construction of hi-rise buildings.

Although I am tempted to feel somewhat proud that my government has acknowledged it's wrongdoing of the past I think it is important to recognize that the some of the diddlers, torturers and murderers of native N. American children still live without any apparent threat to their freedom or incentive to take responsibilities for the horrors attributed to them. I have reason to suspect only a very small portion of these atrocities have ever come to light. My opinion is such that any apology is worthless without any attempt to investigate these crimes.
Great question noname but I am afraid bee has valid concern.
I took it upon myself to re-create this question with multiple options so that it has less likelihood of contention at settlement time.
Keep em coming noname. I luv tech questions.

This question will settle as 'Yes' if a decision has been made to do away with the ABC system even if it has not yet been implemented by 2010.
I have asked this to be included into the settlement details and for the question to be slightly adjusted to "Will Britain decide to do away with its 'A,B,C' drug classification system before 2010?"

The father was originally the only one charged with this murder. Some time has passed and now the brother has been charged as well.
In Canada a verdict of 1st degree murder can be found if pre-meditation is proven.
I pray this will settle in a manner which will clearly project that these crimes will not at all be tolerated in Canada.
This is a disgusting crime and the fact that the perpetrators may be supported by some is disturbing in the deepest sense.

Take note of the word "only".
- Britney only appears as a presenter
- Britney is only shown as an audience member
I think the common sense rule may be valid for settling this question, however I am afraid the settlement may be contested if she is shown in the audience and is a presenter.
I have flagged for review and suspended this market in hopes it can be clarified before much more $H is invested in it.
This is an excellent question and is a great example of the challenges faced when creating questions.
I think a clarification in the settlement details can save this question. it should be something along the lines of "A combination of blue and purple options will settle as blue".
I hope this will help. It's hard to make sure every detail is covered.

Local Republicans call it an "abuse of process" and promised to "use all means" to defeat it, Howard Epstein, the party's spokesman, told the San Francisco Chronicle: "There's no use to this other than to make these nutcases feel good." I think it is worth pointing out that this man spent 5 years imprisoned without charge. He is considered innocent by German intelligence, and US intelligence including the FBI.
Referring to him as a terrorist is inaccurate. If he is indeed innocent he does not deserve to be referred to as a terrorist and I believe he is entitled to some mutual respect.

VIENNA, June 26--International Atomic Energy Agency inspectors have praised Syria for cooperation in a probe into an alleged nuclear site, saying the investigation is off to "a good start".
After four days in Syria on his return to Vienna, IAEA deputy director general Olli Heinonen told reporters Wednesday that inspectors were able to take extensive test samples at the site.
However, Heinonen said it was "too early" to draw conclusions about the nature of the site, which Syria says "was an ordinary military building."

KANAB - The bikini ban has been banned.
Even before Kanab's soon-to-debut city pool opens, the City Council voted unanimously Tuesday night to lift its short-lived prohibition on two-piece swimsuits.
Instead, the southern Utah city is barring "thong swimwear" - a rule similar to other public pools in the Beehive State.

Corky,
I notice that this question and the one you had voided are remarkably similar.
One thing I did notice though is that this question has fairly specific details in the settlement details.
I am not sure if yours did or not because that information has been replaced on yours with the reason of it going void.

In this clip:
<"Even my employees can't drive to work in a Zenn. It's absurd," he said of federal and provincial rules that forbid electric cars from being driven on most Canadian roads. >
He is actually speaking of provincial laws. This is apparent because further in the article:
<"The regulatory agency has so far certified only five models as road-worthy, including the Zenn" said Transport Canada>
The article goes on to say:
<But most provinces, which have jurisdiction over the vast majority of roads and highways in the country, have balked at giving electric cars the green light, citing Transport Canada's safety concerns.>
Which gives me the impression that there are electric vehicles which have been approved by the federal gov't. and that not all of the provinces have prohibited them. Which leads me to conclude that these vehicles are permitted in some provinces of Canada.
Confirmed here:
<To date, only westernmost British Columbia allows low speed electric vehicles on its urban roads. >
I am not sure how B.C. is interpreting 'urban roads' but it is likely roads with speed limit of 50km/h or less.
This is the reference speed for mo-peds and some licensing laws.
Also:
<Quebec in eastern Canada announced a three-year pilot project that would permit starting in July the Zenn and an electric truck called Nemo on its roads with posted speed limits of 50 kilometers (31 miles) per hour. >
My interpretation of highway is minimum 100 km/h however I think there may be some highways of 90km/h.
I suggest this question be clarified as pertaining to vehicles available for purchase to the public and driven on a highway of a minimum 90km/h speed limit.
The 20% starting odds could be considered a bit high but considering the push for Green and settlement is a year and a half away I find it reasonable.

If anyone can produce a news article speaking of survivors which were "trapped inside the capsized ferry." it will be considered for settlement.
The settlement details include only this one additional sentence: "All numbers refer to people who survive after being trapped inside the capsized ferry. "
From the news reports I have seen the number is zero.
I'm not sure how this got misunderstood.

Sorry Mrperfkt. My intention is to refer to people who would have been trapped inside the vessel when this question was published.
There were already reported survivors when I made this question.
At this stage in the game I suspect it can only apply to people who may become rescued.

When I made this question I was thinking that if anybody is rescued or has spent anytime inside the capsized ferry, their stories would be significant and any news articles would specifically speak of the fact that they had been inside the capsized ferry.

The track record of the ferry line combined with their negligence in allowing this ferry's departure by no means reflect professionalism.

Since Pepe made a point of adding "no natural disaster" to this question I believe this question should be re-opened because it was likely the most contributing factor to this tragedy.
@ Erik - I am thankful you acknowledge that this disaster was "greatly influenced by nature" and not entirely due to it, as you have been arguing in the previous posts.
Personally I do not think this question should settle but according to the existing guidelines of hubdub it could settle.
I believe the articles I provided in settlement requests are grounds for settlement as they are from 'major mainstream media' and they state that the ship ran aground and capsized due to engine failure.
My requests for settlement were made to help this question move beyond suspension.

I think you should read the comments again.
I am not alone in not agreeing with you.
It was meandering searcher who made the comment that you attribute to me "ignoring cyclone warnings and taking a ferry out for a scheduled run is an accident waiting to happen."
You correctly point out that I have $20 on this question, which I had forgotten about and in no way influenced my comments.
You're attempts to disregard any contributing factor other than the Typhoon and your absurd comment "Ships don't sink from engine failure" lead to me think your money is not on Asia. I won't know because you have chosen to keep all your bets private.

The President of the Philippines is blaming the Coast Guard for allowing the departure.
Survivors describe the ship suddenly lurching onto it's side. and now it rests upside down with the end exposed, and a hole in it's hull.
It seems to me that the vessel bottomed out and capsized. Engine failure would have disabled any ability to control it's course and cannot be disregarded as a contributing factor. Neither can the fact that human negligence is being reported as a contributing factor.
Tragedies of this scale are often attributed to a failure of more than one system.
@ Erik
If this is as 'black and white' as you would like to make it out to be you would not have people disagreeing with you.

Everett (WA) - Boeing has hit a critical milestone on the way to getting its 787 Dreamliner up in the air. The company today said that it has powered on the first 787, preparing the plane for a complex series of tasks and tests that bring electrical power onto the airplane and begin to exercise the use of the electrical systems. The first flight remains on scheduled for later this year.

It is a low-key endeavor: Only four International Atomic Energy Agency inspectors will participate in the three-day project starting Sunday, and both Damascus and the U.N. agency have pulled down the blinds on news media seeking to report on the trip, keeping all details secret.

Mainstream media has totally missed the boat on explaining all of the facts. Too busy talking about Obama's lapel pin etc.
We're talking about the livelihood of the Afghani people. Attempts to destroy their labors would be NATO's fast track to become sworn enemies on the ground.
As a Canadian I would like to share my thoughts regarding this matter.
This article of The Economist explains alot; http://www.economist.com/world/international/displaystory.cfm?story_id=11478204
I think the use of the primitive tool mentioned in this question is the main source of the ire felt by the international community, and I strongly feel that it's use must stop. Anybody with any sense of compassion must whince watching the implimentation of this weapon. I find it Ironic that the people of this area of Canada, (Newfoundland) are often found to be the friendliest of all of Canada. Traditionally the poorest part of Canada it provides one of the most Canadian cultural experiences any tourist can experience.
If the hunting of seals was done solely with rifles I feel it would be hard to differentiate between the seal hunt and anyother form of hunting.
Heather Mills and Paul McCartney have probably brought the most internationnal attention to this matter when they made this appearance of the shores of Newfoundland; http://youtube.com/watch?v=0lI04ZlJj0M. In the video McCartney states that the majority of Canadians oppose the seal hunt. I am not sure if he is correct with this statement but I think if the hakapik would no longer be used the majority of Canadians would not oppose the seal hunt.
I find the McCartney video interesting because it shows Heather Mills' clear misunderstand of a wild animal. This was their last public appearance before the demise of the marriage and I have always wondered if their private discussions on this matter led to the straw that broke the camels back.

I'm afraid there is going to be dispute if the heal's are in and around 3".
Two reasons:
- There is no allowance for heals that are precisely three inches but only greater or less than.
- If media does not report the height of her heals, It might be difficult to determine their height, unless you do it in person VnH.
also
All the dudes in here... there might be dispute if pumps and heals are the same.
I must suspend this until it gets clarified.
Great subject matter though Valor. I like questions about angry women.

The RCMP says a sixth human foot was discovered on a sand spit in this Vancouver Island community Wednesday morning.
The foot, reportedly a right foot in a black Adidas running shoe, was discovered at about 10:30 a.m. by a woman picking rocks on the ocean side of the spit.

Is there any thoughts you can share, Pepe, to help us understand?

In order to settle as 'yes' the major mainstream news source should use the word "appology" or "appologized" or "sorry".
OK.
I am going to suspend this one and hopefully get the date changed to July 15, and have the suspend date changed to this year.
Sorry all.
I hope everyone is ok with the plan.

A membership of GetSatisfaction is not required to flag a question on hubdub.
The concerns mentioned on these forums usually make sense.
What is beyond my comprehension is why a user would leave a comment on this forum and not only expect a response but DEMAND it.
If anybody has a legitimate concern about a question they should FLAG the question. Failure to do this suggests to me a desire to be heard more than a desire to get results.

I find it peculiar that you wouldn't do a simple investigation before making wild and slanderous allegations as you have.

I would like to consider your declaration that it should have settled as "NO"
I can't quite make sense of it because two days ago Lesley Eccles stated in the GetSat thread: "It is clear that the question should have been voided."
I feel, I assume you do too, that the importance of questions settling without ambiguity is vital to the integrity of hubdub and it's future.
I look forward to seeing any constructive arguements you might have on the GetSat thread.

I think the outcome of this question is a good indication of the lack of gaming going on.
I feel it is so rare in fact that it would not take very long for a gamer to draw attention to themselves and be found out.
I feel it is so rare in fact that it would not take very long for a gamer to draw attention to themselves and be found out.
In reality many questions on hubdub are subject to gaming according to the terms randburg describes.
All one has to do is research hubdub and conspire a well timed crime to make alot of hubdub dollars.
Of course the rules of gaming still apply so if any hubdub member became associated with the crime publicly we would have no choice to subject them to the rules regarding gaming.
I am by no means comparing what this man has done to being a crime and I pray that his wife absolutely does not treat it that way, because he knows full well he is going to have to cut her some slack next time she does 'one of those things'.

It seems the title of the article I used as a basis of this question (http://www.nature.com/news/2008/080515/full/news.2008.822.html?s=news_rss) is not accurately referring to the true question at hand.
The article refers to the mantle as being a possible source of nuclear activity. As the creator of this question I should have included the mantle as a possible source leading to an outcome of 'yes' in order to accurately pose the question I meant to ask.
Thanks Rogerkni for recognizing this and rightfully flagging this question.
I am going to add the word 'mantle' to the question now.
If anybody's wager was made in error because of this confusion, please let us know.
Apologies,
