What's the hold up on settling this? The settlement requirements are "As reported by a major mainstream news source" - not "when I get an email from somebody".

Normally I don't reply to flame-baiters but since you decided to throw your soap box front and center, I'll give you something to chew on. There's an old saying, the way you see the world is a reflection of how you see yourself. Liars tend to believe that everyone is dishonest, cheaters always think they are getting the raw end of the deal, and bigots seem to think they are the ones who are being discriminated against. Now, I'm not saying any of these apply to you but the fact that you have friends who are minorities doesn't automatically mean you aren't racist. In fact, your use of the point as a rationalization technique tends to suggest otherwise. Before you reply, I would suggest first looking closely at your rant and ask yourself, does this statement show off your intellect or does it exemplify your ignorance? Something to think about while you are looking in the mirror.

No need to be snarky, destry. I think yonemoto had a great question. Most hurricanes lose strength once they hit land. Cognos clarified it somewhat in comment but I can definitely see how someone could get confused about the term "hit"...
When it comes to Steve Jobs, One More Thing (capitalized) refers to a specific event - the "One More Thing" event. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stevenote As such, no "One More Thing" has happened (not yet anyway) therefore this should not be settled yet. One more thing does not refer to a quantity.. it's his schtick.
Yeah, you're going to have to define this one better. For example, just yesterday Ickes said "You bet your ass..." on live television. Would that be considered vulgar? Hate to say it but you'll probably need to make a list of words that would settle the question.
