I had questions voided because a mod ended up disagreeing with my odds...so i put in the odds they suggested, and the market brought the odds back to MY original levels. Not saying this is a regular occurance, but I believe some other method (other than VOIDING) should be implemented if the only disagreement is odds. I believe since the mods can bet, that this sets up a fundamental conflict of interest. Figure out a system where the market controls the odds 100%. Do not let biased people control the odds. This might mean that users cannot bet on their own questions......so let the user make 1% of the action on questions....etc....

Anyone know what happened at the hearing? How did he plea?
No it doesnt have to be in more than one city....the media will define what a riot is...a la rodney king, etc
warm fuzzy feelings aside, those people who (week after week) create the good questions that keep us logging in here should be rewarded....with 1% of the take.

I don't mind creating questions....the main problem is that there is no real reward for creating good questions...Like a percentage of the action! If people were given a percentage of the action (like 1%) for creating a question, I believe you would see a lot more questions!

PS

Anand had a very poor performance and lost his #1 spot in the ratings on the Live list.
GM Veselin Topalov (Bulgaria) won Today in the decisive match versus Ivanchuk. Carlsen had a chance and so did Aronian -- was a GREAT tournament. Please if you like chess questions let's make more! Chess = win!
your question says assert but all of the answers say assume......asserting and assuming are two very different things.....asserting control being much easier to do than assuming control of a city and it's functions.

so far this is the most recent article i can find, I will post more when they come out
Leko won, congrats to any who picked him...I will try and post more chess questions!
Looks like the 1's win......as of the last gallup poll in June, Obama was elading by 5 points still....so theres been only one lead change.
Why does this question say it has 1 year to go, but January is less than 6 months away?
