Ouch man :-( ... I am sooooo sorry you are not dong so great this week. Man, that strike really set me back, hahaha, and not only that, it made me rusty for like the last 2 weeks man, I sooo lost my rhythm. I am still down after 2 grueling weeks of attempting to recover, it's like I'm running in place, hahaha :-P
Man, sorry I missed you at #2 for so long, I knew you were in Top 5 for sure, but didn't see #2 till today, well, now technically yesterday :-D

Man, just look at the bright side, you could still lose $521,336 and STILL be even with me, hahahahahaha, so yeah, I have a really large hill to climb :-D ... But I am up $5k from my low a few weeks back, so that's nice.

It is my concrete belief that the legitimacy and reputation of this entire game is at stake and I will no longer participate in a game that is "fixed" against the ethical and rules following players, and placed in the favor of unethical and rule breaking members.
I declare to you admins, that you have treated ALL legitimate hubdubbers in an unethical manner, you have disrespected those who love and support the game and have potentially fed a "gaming" environment that actually encourages cheating against the upright in this hubdub community.
Until this issue is resolved in an agreeable manner, you have lost (username) as a loyal member of this site and I will no longer sing the praises of hubdub.com to anyone, nor invite anyone I know to join, until this matter is resolved.

Yes I do realize that. But 1) it takes hd$ to make hd$ and crudsy has lots of it and 2) people are used to him being in the lead so I think a lot of other people will bet on him. (Thus I get to make some easy hd$). No criticism on your odds.

Ummm ... I'm still confused ... I understand you wanted the question to go for a week (that makes obvious sense ;-)

I looked at the list before I made predictions on the market (as I said then, BTW, I love this question!) -- but I don't recall noticing or paying any attention to what "date was on the page ... back then when I looked. (I made my predictions on March 15th -- so it's been two weeks, or so now.)

I just don't understand why the Times currently shows an April 6th date for their Best Seller List (Hardcover/Fiction) ... it strikes me as, at best, a "prediction into the future" -- which is not my experience of the NYT. Said differently, I would have anticipated seeing a date in this Sunday's NYT of "March 30, 2008".

Apologies if I'm repeating my question(s) to you ;-) -- obviously there's something here I just *don't get* ! ;-)

It was announced today that Apple has sent out the pre-release test version to testers and is set to release the 10.5.3 in late April or in May.

I AM excited about being reset.
I just want to know if there will be a difference computation between cash reserves and predictions in hand. What I'm concerned with is while $H are easily added to 'all-time $H', if the predictions are simply scaled back, those $H would not be added to the all-time leaderboard. If that is the case, then I'll start dumping my positions for cash, and I really don't want to do that.

I dig satyaki and his blogging. I know he has been heavily fined. He has "done the time". But, his 'tuts' acct is still out there (not being used), and until it's completely removed, he may continue to get 'shouted' at over this issue.

Whoa! It is a matter of diversifying my portfolio, a basic market strategy.
In some cases it was simply a matter of sitting up all night, find places to stash some money. I can't stand having that much cash doing absolutely nothing. In some cases, I placed positions on long-shots, just to get the market listed in the top 3 for a given market segment. Still doing that actually.
