Ahh...very nice question - With the Titans still undefeated of course Jeff Fisher has to one of the favorites for the award.
But, what first year head coach Mike Smith of the Falcons has accomplished so far this year is pretty extraordinary, especially with a rookie quarterback. They are still are very much in contention to make the playoffs. If they do make the playoffs this year, after going 4-12 last year, I would like to see him win the award.
Thanks to the Falcons winning, we don't have to hear anymore of the Michael Vick stuff - in fact, it might of been a blessing in disguise. If Vick were still playing in Atlanta they probably would have never selected Matt Ryan, who has been outstanding this season.

Tony Sparano with the Dolphins are currently only 1 game out of first place in the AFC East with over half the regular season games played. After winning only 1 game all of last season, the quick turnaround is pretty fascinating as well...I can also find argument for him to be coach of year.

It was suspended a few hours before actual race time. I know there was problems with Admins changing suspend time on some questions a couple days ago, perhaps the problem is still occurring and the CatEd couldn't adjust the time and had to go for tonight and just suspended it a little early.

The Chargers started the wrong season so slowly - Gave up a couple games in last minute, got screwed on an admitted bad call by ref...Chargers find themselves in a hole, but have the talent to dig themselves out of it as season progresses.

Besides being the best sport in the world -- As a fan, it comes down to loyalty to your team. I can't put into words the ups and downs that come with being a die-hard supporter of a team through the good and bad....But that is part of the fun, feeling the joy of winning, and agony of defeat along with your team week in and week out.
That is my favorite thing; those emotions that I get when the Chargers have a great week, and adversely the anger/sadness/frustration I get when they have a bad one. It's a rollercoaster ride, but I ain't gettin off.

These are good questions, but there was some confusion in previous ones posted. If you stated which team score was listed first, and which team score was listed second in background info it would make things clearer. Or, instead of just listing options as 0-0 or 1-0, you can list them as (Chelsea 0 - man Utd 0), (Chelsea 1 - man Utd 0), etc.- to have options clearly stated that leaves no room for ambiguity.

Example: You have 0-1, and 1-0 as options....And somebody wanted to wager that Chelsea will win 1-0, some may not know which option to bet on.

My intention is not to try and nitpick your question because I like them, but to try and make it clear and easy to read for everyone who wants to wager on it.

I also take activity question gets to decide weather or not to keep creating a new question. Your input is good and you are right, this question as is can become a "who scores first" question simply by betting on all the options for the team they think. I enjoy questions that have multiple options, which spread odds out, that is why I tried question in this format.

Through games played Sunday, C. Portis is leading with 22.9 points (96 Rush yards, 2 rec for 3 yards, 2 TD). Only Westbrook or Barber have chance to overtake him on Monday.

I got the idea for this question by watching the USC/OSU game tonight. After OSU scored first, I thought to myself- man, if there were a question on who scores first OSU would have had great odds because most would have thought USC. I set options as not only who will score first, but how to spread odds out a little. Tougher to predict than a question asking who will score first, but payouts better. Hopefully there will be a feedback if ya'll enjoy this type, or would rather prefer a simple what team scores first question.

I can't put into words how big of a blow this would be if he can't play this year. Not only is he a sack master, but a big factor in Cromartie leading the league in interceptions last year was the pressure Merriman and Phillips put on the QBs coming of the end.

Its so hard to create golf questions prior to the tournament beginning. If you create question prior to tournament, half the names you list will be out of the running altogether by the time the second round arrives, which leaves it to only a few options as likely outcomes. If you suspend prior to tournament beginning it wont get much action because the field is so big and it is almost like a lottery question - unless Tiger Woods is playing. After creating a few previous golf questions, this is first time trying it this way by seeing round one - then asking question after seeing who is still up there near the leader. Hopefully this creates more balanced wagering - especially if Ochoa faulters in round 2...that would make it really interesting.

I agree with you V- Sweeney Todd was a pretty graphic movie, in both imagery and lyrics. I have seen it and wouldn't let my kids watch it if I had teenagers. Winner advances furthest. When creating question I never thought we would actually see both of them in the finals. I should have anticipated this possibility and posted info in background. I hope everyone agrees to settle as whoever wins advances furthest.

Unless I'm mistaken, the Lebron James rumors are about what he will do when he can opt out of his contract in 2010 meaning he will almost certainly be in Cleveland next year. I haven't heard anything about him not playing for Cleveland in the 08-09 season. Can you post a link to article because I can't find anything stating this.

Ooops, just checked back on this question and found this discussion. Destry is right, payouts will be known near the start of tournament after number of entrants is known, well before the final table is started. This is the first year they have this format of delaying the final table a few months before finalizing tournament. Kinda goofy if you ask me. I guess they want to try to hype the event to get a wider audience and hopefully more entrants for next year.

With the golf field so big to start a tournament its a crap shoot who will win, especially on the tougher Major courses. I have created golf questions which suspended prior to play and it didnt receive much attention. I feel suspend prior to the third or final round is a fair way for all to gauge how the field is playing and make more of an educated guess instead of a 1/150 or so shot which is approx how many entered...Thats another reason I combined players in groupings, to get more names in the large field as options.

I gave the Tigers a little higher odds than record indicate because they got off to a horrible 0-7 start to season, but have played better recently and have arguably the best lineup in all of baseball.

You ever go to the movie websites lucidstates? I usually dont but havent seen any previews for these movies so went to each site. Journey2Earth and Hellboy2 have some pretty cool websites. I wish i could create a website like them. After checking I was a bit surprised the first Hellboy only did 23mill in its opening weekend. Brendan Fraser's Mummy movies did really good at the box office, which Journey2Earth seems to fit same kinda category.
So, my little research and reasoning make me believe Journey first, and a toss up for second and third, leaning towards Hellboy for second but the First Hellboy opening so low has me worried about that.
Let me know how far off am I to your opinions lucidstates.

Instead of listing the numerous teams that have been rumored as interested in C.C. Sabathia which would make initial odds start out very low I felt it was better to simply better to give and AL and NL option which could keep initial odds higher and fairly even. Teams from both leagues have shown interest and felt this was a better way to set options.

Not really. the Euro tournament had a similar group of questions with one being "Who will win" and another group of questions asking how each individual country will do in the tournament.
Those questions seemed to be popular and go over well so I thought the Wibledon Grand Slam Tournament deserved to have a few asking about how some of the individual competitors would perform instead of only one questions pertaining to who the winner will be.

thats why I set the range so wide in case of an injury, days off, etc., thus had to suspend a little early since the range is so wide.
